Ercel Global Advisory (EGA) provides diverse financial consulting services in Istanbul Turkey for an astute clientele. The founder of the company, Gazi Ercel, was Governor of the Central Bank of Turkey between 1996 through 2001. After leaving his post as Governor of the Central Bank of Turkey in March of 2001, he established EGA to fill a gap in the investment community.
EGA is committed to harnessing the potential of emerging markets. In particular, EGA explores the possibility of
restructuring external and domestic debt, inefficient banking systems, the lack of an appropriate exchange rate regime, weak safety nets, insufficient flow of private capital that have hindered progress in these important markets.
Ercel Global Advisory’s services are related to the Turkish economy, financial markets, central bank policies and reliable information supply. Unlike other consultancies EGA is both a ‘think’ and ‘do’ tank. They take projects from the idea stage through its development and financial execution applying more than 30 years of public sector experience with a private sector approach.
